Panel Focus: The big Changes Coming to performance Advertising in 2017

Here, we turn the spotlight on one of the panels at GMASA17, which will be convened between 11.15-11.45 am on 26th January 2017.

Discussing the latest trends affecting performance advertising in 2017 will be a panel of 7 industry experts to give you insights on key changes that will be seen in visual advertising this year.

Meet the Panelists:

Colin J.G. Miles (Moderator) – Collin, with a commercial career spanning all things mobile, is the VP, Global Sales & Marketing for extraordinary minimob platform​ and the GM for the APAC region. A veteran mobile media entrepreneur, he was granted the honorary title ‘MEF Asia Chair Emeritus’ by the Mobile Ecosystem Forum in 2015, having served four years as its Chairman. He was also elected President of the Mobile Alliance Singapore in 2016. He’s lived and worked in Asia for the past 24 years, and apart from the topic of football – usually tweets on social media, digital content and mobile industry matters; especially those related to the ‘App Economy’.

Jakob Knutzen – Jakob is the MD of Lion & Lion, which he joined after a stint as a commercial strategist focusing on for medium and large clients at Qvartz, a leading Scandinavian strategy consultant house. Prior to Qvartz, he worked across US, China, Denmark, and Austria, before finishing his MSc in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School in the top 5%. Jakob, with his exceptional skills and talent, has been instrumental in acquiring large clients like Qatar Airways, Traveloka, and the L’Oreal Group for Lion & Lion in the Indonesian market, one of the most difficult Southeast Asian markets to penetrate.

Krishnadeep Baruah – Krishnadeep Baruah is Vice President Sales (APAC) at BBM, one of the largest and the world’s first mobile messaging app. He brings to his role more than 20 years of technology industry expertise in the mobile and telecommunications space. Krishnadeep has held a variety of regional leadership roles in Sales and Marketing across Asia Pacific. He holds a Masters in Management and a Mechanical Engineering degree.

Martinus Faisal
– Faisal started his career in a business development role at Nutrifood – a global FMCG company. In 2011, he joined M-Stars group that created a mobile banking platform for a major bank in Indonesia and started the 1st Indonesia-based AdNetwork company – Ad-Stars. At present, he is the COO of Adskom, a data technology company, and is responsible for daily operations, business development and product creation for both Indonesian and Indian markets.

Pankaj Khushani – Pankaj works in Singapore with Google as Head of Media Technology Solutions for SEA, India & Korea. Before this, he was the APAC Head, Google Cloud Platform Partnerships, and led the Location Platform business (Google Maps & Google Earth) for Asia. Before joining Google, Pankaj was the APAC Product Lead for ‘Here Maps’ at Nokia, and had held various leadership positions at Bharti Airtel, including Deputy GM (New Product Development) for 3 verticals: Social Media, M2M communications & Location Based Services; National Head – Sales & Distribution; and, Regional Head of Sales – BFSI Vertical.

Saba Anjum – Saba Anjum, a self-confessed technology geek who is passionately fond of electronics and gadgets, is the Owner and Co-founder of AdMusketeer, a top mobile ad network with a network of 700+ affiliates (and growing) being paid weekly. With a post-graduate MBA degree from Kolkata adding to her expertise, she aims at being foremost in the advertisement industry with AdMusketeer already on an upward trajectory to the top. Endowed with a well rounded-up personality, Saba enjoys traveling and reading in her free time.
