Here we focus on another one of panels at the Global Mobile App Summit and Awards, which will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM on 6th July, 2016. The panel will see five of the mobile industry’s experts sit down to talk about how developers can turn their app ideas into a successfully funded mobile startup.
Meet the Panelists:
Aroon Kumar (Moderator): Aroon Kumar, the General Manager of Global Marketing at CricHQ, will moderate the panel. At CricHQ, Aroon’s role involves the conception and formation of viable business strategies through the use of creative excellence, disciplined project leadership and expertise in creating new opportunities from multiple start-points. Girish Ramdas: Girish Ramdas is the co-founder and CEO of Magzter, a New-York based global digital news-stand that that carries over 8000 publications from over 3500 publishers across the world. Prior to Magzter, Girish co-founded and ran three successful startups within the technology, content and digital space. Girish has won a number of accolades owing to his keen business acumen and entrepreneurship. In 2013, he was named TiE Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year. Fortune magazine has listed him on their 40 under 40 list of Global Indian Entrepreneurs twice.
Abhishek Gupta: Abhishek Gupta is the Head of TLabs accelerator program, where he is actively involved in finding and funding startups within the Technology, Internet and Mobile space. Abhishek has over 12 years of experience in managing high-growth organizations and leading tech and IT teams. Before TLabs, Abhishek successfully led the product and technology initiative of two major internet businesses, LimeDomains and LimeExchange. Today Abhishek is one of the industry’s leading minds in the startup and mobile industries.
Bharat Sethi: Bharat Sethi is the founder and CEO of PosterGully, a platform for artists and designers to sell their art and designs and gain worldwide exposure to customers and buyers. What began as a side-project for Bharat has now become a cult brand within the marketplace, and has amassed over 6 million users, all owing to Bharat’s integral role in shaping the brand. Bharat has been named one of the country’s 25 most influential leaders in e-commerce by the Asia Retail Congress and among the top 4 inspiring entrepreneurs under 25 by the Indiatimes Lifestyle Network.
Saurabh Arora: Saurabh Arora is the founder and CEO of Lybrate, India’s first and largest online doctor consultation platform. Through Lybrate, Saurabh aims at making health-care easily accessible in India, bridging the supply-demand gap between health-care experts and patients, especially in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities where the problem is much more prevalent. The platform seamlessly connects doctors and patients through their mobile devices. Prior to Lybrate, Saurabh worked at Facebook where his role involved connecting SMEs and advertisers to their customers through Facebook Ads.
