Here’s a look at the panellists for the panel – Apps With Social Impact – Changing The World For Good

Christa Sabathaly, LINE (Panel Moderator)

Christa Sabathaly is a senior business development manager of E-commerce at LINE, Indonesia. Christa heads one of LINE’s major platforms, LINE@, a business platform which enable users to distribute information and achieve user’s sales goals via 1-on-1 chat, keyword reply, broadcast message, print digital coupons and stamp cards to other LINE users. Prior to LINE, Christa mentored a number of startup communities and established her own online travel business, Travellist-tour.com. She holds a Bachelors’ degree in science from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Arts from the Northumbria University in the UK.

Adrian Gunadi, Investree

Adrian Gunadi is the co-founder and chairman of Investree, a Jakarta-based financial technology startup that serves as an online marketplace that matches borrowers and prospective lenders. With over 18 years of experience in local and foreign banking, Adrian started Investree with the aim of facilitating easy financial transfers between users, without the hassles that come with transactions through formal financial institutions. Prior to Investree, Adrian served as the Director of Retail Banking at Bank Muamalat Indonesia. He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia, and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management.

Amit Lakhotia, Tokopedia

Amit Lakhotia is the Vice President of Business at Tokopedia, a digital marketplace that enables businesses across Indonesia to manage their digital stores. He leads new initiatives for Tokopedia, and helps grow its reach. Amit has been part of the leadership team for two major businesses, seeing them right from their inception to their current billion-dollar enterprise status: PayTM and MakeMyTrip.com. Amit worked with PayTM for over 3 years, where he conceived and built the idea for PayTM Wallet from scratch. At MakeMyTrip, he served as the Product Manager and Business Head. Amit holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, and a BE from the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.


Hanifa Ambadar, Female Daily Network

Hanifa Ambadar is the founder and CEO of Female Daily Network, a platform where women and fashion enthusiasts can discover, share and buy beauty products, services & cosmetics. The platform also supports a growing community of users, serving up beauty products reviews, salons & spa reviews, beauty trends, and original editorial content. Hanifa’s proven experience is evident through the creation of the Female Daily Network, where she helps grow the business, creates various monetization models and manages the community. Her adaptability to the internet’s ever-changing dynamics has also proved instrumental in successfully running the business. She holds an MBA from the Maryville University of St. Louis.

Winston Utomo, IDN Media

Winston Utomo is the CEO and Editor-in-Chief at IDN Media, a multi-platform news and entertainment digital media company. IDN Media which is aimed at millennials and Gen Z, serves up curated and relevant, shareworthy social news. They overlook a number of ventures, including IDNtimes.com, Popbela.com, IDNtv, and IDN Creative. Prior to IDN Media, Winston worked at Google as a senior account strategist. He has a Bachelors degree from the University of Southern California and a Masters from the Columbia University in New York City.
